Ethics and Rules of the Legal Profession
The article focuses on the assessment of the development history of the rules of the legal profession for almost eight centuries, leaving the ancient period aside. The principles of classical profession emerged with the industrial societies are being compared with the principles in the Guild period. The emphasis is being made on the issue how, following the classic period, the profession placed as a substitute of the economic ideology; and the attention is being drawn to the importance of ethics and the difference between ethics and professional rules.
