Copyright as the Stepchild of Law
The Article addresses the bases of the problem especially in expert area in Intellectual Property Law in Turkey, after referring to an incident. The Article determines that “Intellectual Property Rights” do not receive enough attention in University education. The article also criticizes the absence of Intellectual Property Rights departments at the Universities of Turkey unlike the other European countries with no territorial policy in Copyright Law. The Article ends with an interesting experience of a person, holding a PhD in Copyright Law, in front of a jury for associate professorship. (Av. Haluk Inanici, 2004)
